Crosshair Packager

Welcome to Foo's Crosshair Packager for Half-life2 Deathmatch by [DrD][foo] bar.

Step 1. Pick a cross hair

Step 2. Pick a color and options

Display crosshair outline (better contrast)

Step 3. Download and install

Once downloaded extract the files into:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life 2 Deathmatch\hl2mp\custom\my_custom_stuff\resource

Detailed instructions:

Go to your HL2DM folder. It's usually

unless you installed steam somewhere else
Go into the "custom" folder
If you don't see a "my_custom_stuff" folder - create it and go into it
If you don't see a "resource" folder - create it and go into it
Extract the contents of the zip file you just downloaded into your resource folder.
Start your game!

Want to remove your crosshair?

Just delete the files you put into your custom folder. Easy peasy.

It's not working, help!

The most common problem people have getting the crosshairs to work is not placing the files into the correct folder. The files must go into your custom resource folder. They can't go into a sub-folder, or be renamed, or anything else. Double check you followed the installation instructions!

The outline isn't showing!

~~The crosshair outline broke after an update released on Monday April 29th 2013.~~ As of May 16 2014, the Outline seems to be working again.
